Bulbous purple root with dark green, purple veined leaves

earthy smell
Leaves are like silverbeet/chard. Root is sweet and soft when cooked, sweet and crunchy when raw
hard to touch.

Can be eaten raw or cooked (boiled until soft or roasted). Juiced for micro nutrient goodness. Leaves are edible also.
